Happy New Year from Rainbow Riches
If there was a year to remember for Rainbow Riches and the little green leprechaun so associated with this iconic, charming online game, then 2010 was it. Having been launched at land-based sites back in 2009, Rainbow Riches first sniffed the online air in the summer of 2009 and has never looked back!
With an Irish theme, taking in the wonderful countryside and craggy green, emerald features, Rainbow Riches struck a cord with the great paying public and very quickly became an online success to the extent that it is now the most successful online game of its genre ever!
Looking ahead to 2011, it is interesting to predict where Rainbow Riches will head next. The next innovation, first trailed this year, was the concept of community play, where players are pooled into small groups. If on one game a player gets awarded a feature games, then all players in that group also get the feature game, and everyone shares the general success. It adds team play to what tends to be – traditionally – a very solitary pursuit. Certainly, Rainbow Riches is one of the brands that are part of this trailblazing exercise.
2011 will probably bring some consolidation to the Rainbow Riches brand as it continues to find a home with all major operators. Only one big name is holding out but Ladbrokes is likely to bow to the pressure and bring Rainbow Riches home for 2011. The current offering of games from this provider has been universally acknowledged as sub-standard compared to its peers and it is a matter of months before Rainbow Riches and other great games are expected to be welcomed on board.
