Weird question about infant shoes/sizes?

Basically I am wondering if baby shoes are made to be more conducive to walking in the bigger sizes. For example, I’ve noticed that newborn – 6 month shoes are soft and don’t really have a sole or proper arches. And then 12 month and up are actual shoes and not just slipper/moccasin type things. I am concerned about this because my 10 month old will probably be walking within the next couple of months, but her feet are ridiculously tiny. She just outgrew the pair of 0-3 month sandals she wore sporadically over the spring/summer. She almost always goes barefoot, but with fall approaching I know she will need shoes and they will need to be for a walker, but also small enough to fit her feet.

I love stride rite shoes. The soft motion shoes that they have are fabulous for walkers/pre-walkers. They have a harder rubber sole, but they flex and fit their feet wonderfully! What actual size is she in?

I ordered from stride rite and I got them for like $30. I also have the NMS Daffodil sandals, too. She got those for her birthday. She is still in a size 4. She has smaller feet.

Also, look into pedipeds or robeez. She doesn’t really need a “hard” shoe until she is walking really well. Rylee has one pair of Nike tennis shoes and she has worn them once. Haha She is either barefoot or she has on those soft motion shoes. The size 2 is pretty small. They might fit her. Is her foot really narrow?
